When a relationship ends…

Most people fear the legal process will take a long time, cost a lot of money, and foster even more bitterness. They also fear how this process will add to the pain and harm the divorce impact will have on their children. The traditional divorce system treats the end of a marriage as a contest, where the wife’s lawyer and the husband’s lawyer fight tooth-and-nail to get the biggest piece of the pie for the client. This process all too often ignores the financial, emotional and relationship costs of winning.
